I started having migraines when I was in grammar school and outgrew them when I went through puberty around 13 or so. So yes it is possible to have them at an early age. I had the classic symptoms also, tunnel vision,bothered by lights(I had to be in a darkened room)throbbing pain,vomiting,everything seemed loud to me. No one else in my family every suffered from them that I am aware of.

ive been certified in this area for years and can think of nothing herbal that would actually work. in fact many of the programs that people go through have an extreme recidivsm rate (return to smoking), and thats even with the best drugs and programs available.

in my opinion and observations nothing works better than actual will power. when one is given the right motivational response they will quit. as a simplified example: my wife smoked 2 packs of cools for 10 years. the day she found out she was pregnant she stopped and has never smoked again. another example: an uncle of ours who had be free of tobacco for seven years started again smoking one night when we were playing cards. someone was making a cigarette run. they asked uncle al if he wanted a pack. he said yes. they brought him a pack. he continued smoking until he died.

some people wont stop even paying $ 10 a pack so i cant say $ $ is the best motivator. i’ve treated people who smoke through a permant hole in their throat (tracheostomy). so u be the judge. quit if you can. get help if you must. but in the end its your own will power that will determine if you stop and if you stay stopped.

Lets say you are getting braces on the top and bottom.

When the doctors are cleaning your teeth they will probably ask you to bring your tongue back because the fluid they are using consists an acid that is powerful enough to destroy the tarter on they teeth but is very sour, like a lemon, only more sour. When they are done cleaning your teeth they will put the glue on your teeth and attach the braces. Once they are done the doctors will tell you how to brush your teeth with braces on, they might give you some tools to help you brush. You might also get to choose a color for your braces.

The first day with your braces will not be pleasant, your teeth are not used to your braces so, when you bite down you teeth will hurt a ton. . The pain will go away, it will be 2 or 3 days and then your teeth will stop hurting. Also, your lips might not be used to something over your teeth, so your lips are going to be uncomfortable. Your braces may rub off some of the skin of the inside of your mouth and it may hurt, but the doctors may be will give you some wax to put over your braces till the wound heals

The obvious choice is “cry it out”, since he’s 8 months… it is an option.. 1Am is WAY too late.

Routine, Routine, Routine.

If he always sleeps around 12AM, develop a routine that starts around 11:45– maybe its a soothing bath, a bedtime book, a bottle, etc.

Do it for a week at a time when he goes to bed normally. Then move it forward 5-10 minutes a day. If you do the same routine each time, this should help.

Also, try varying your day– does he nap a lot or is he active?

My daughter plays on this toy (she’s only 3 months) that involves her kicking a foot pad and watching this thing spin….so she’s kicking and kicking and kicking– she wears herself out. Sometimes I look over and she’s fallen alseep on her blanket on the floor, one foot still half on the toy. Maybe he simply needs to be more active to tire himself out.

Or if its the opposite– and he’s TOO stilumated, you can try sitting with him, talking, reading, rocking, etc, to calm him down.

The Use of Electronic Cigarettes in Smoking Cessation

Some decades ago, when the public became aware of the real dangers of smoking, a lot of people decided to quit the habit. The main advantage of the e cig against any other cigarette substitute is that it gives an instant nicotine hit unlike nicotine gums and patches which take longer. Also, another big factor in quitting smoking is the oral fixation and act of inhaling the smoke from the cigarette. Electronic cigarettes are thus the perfect solution to this.

Another good thing about these e cigs is that you can use them in a lot more places than real cigarettes. You can smoke comfortably in places that allow e-cigarettes such as malls, restaurants, clubs, libraries, hospitals and even in your own bedroom or walk in closet if you want to.

Like all products which gain a certain amount of popularity, there are bound to be inferior imitations. Be wary of these. Make sure that the e cigarette you are buying to help you quit is of high quality and not the cheap kind to avoid accidents and wasting money.
